Ham Polo Club is a most tranquil setting at Petersham, a few short miles (8 to be exact) from Hyde Park Corner - tranquil that is to say apart from Sunday afternoons for periods of 7 Minute Chukkas when eight mounted players thunder past the spectators on their magnificent Polo Ponies chasing after a white ball...sounds mad? - If you haven't tried watching Polo before - give it a try - and Ham is a most friendly and welcoming club!
