Teams for this hard fought match were:-
Young England (Dark Blue): 1, Robin Spencer; 2, Edmund Parsons; 3, Jay Jones and Bk Patrick Selfe (-2)
SUPA/PC (light Blue): 1, Tom Meacher; 2, Ludo de Ferranti; 3, James White; and Bk Freddie Home (-2)
The handicaps might have been different from those published as Young England were given a 1/2 goal lead.
The match was hard fought and pretty even up to the end of the 2nd chukka but in the final half, with a 3 goal spurt in the 3rd chukka, Young England pulled away to win by a comfortable margin 7½ to 3.
